The Value Gap Between Generations and its Reflection on Children's Behavior in Bani Walid City: A Descriptive Study

Generational value disparity is a prominent social issue that impacts the nature and cohesion of family relationships, especially in societies undergoing a transitional phase between authenticity and openness to the digital and knowledge world.
This research aims to examine the value gap between parents and children in the city of Bani Walid and analyze its impact on children's academic and social behavior.
The research relied on a descriptive and analytical approach to studying this phenomenon. The results showed that the generational value gap contributes to weak family communication, increased rebellious tendencies among children, and a decline in the status of some traditional values.
The research recommended the need to strengthen family dialogue and update socialization strategies to keep pace with contemporary cultural and social changes.
