Data Sharing Policy

The Libyan Journal of Educational Research and E-Learning (LJERE) is committed to research transparency and reproducibility. Authors are required to share the data supporting their findings whenever ethically and legally possible. We encourage researchers to deposit datasets in public repositories or include them as supplementary materials with their submission.

All manuscripts must include a Data Availability Statement, specifying:

  • Where the data can be accessed (repository name, DOI, or supplementary files)

  • Any restrictions on data sharing (e.g., privacy, confidentiality, or legal constraints)

  • Licensing information (preferably CC BY or CC0 for maximum reuse)

Human subject data must be anonymized to protect participant privacy. If data cannot be shared due to ethical or legal reasons, authors must provide a justification in their submission.

LJERE supports the FAIR Data Principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) and recommends using trusted repositories such as:

  • Zenodo (general research data)

  • Figshare (multidisciplinary datasets)

  • Open Science Framework (OSF) (collaborative research projects)

Non-compliance may delay publication or result in post-publication corrections. Exceptions are considered on a case-by-case basis.
