Abstract

The contemporary world is witnessing profound structural transformations driven by the rise of artificial intelligence (AI), which has evolved from a mere technical tool into a structural force influencing social relations, labor markets, and patterns of power. This study aims to analyze the impact of AI on the social structure from a critical sociological perspective, relying on a review of sociological literature and discourse analysis of official and institutional narratives. The study finds that AI contributes to reorganizing social relations, reproducing inequalities, redefining work and authority, and raises ethical and social challenges related to algorithmic bias, privacy, accountability, and the digital divide. The study concludes that addressing these challenges requires clear regulatory policies and a critical framework linking innovation to social justice
