A proposed vision for investing intellectual capital in Libyan universities in light of some international models

The current research aims to develop a proposed vision for investing in intellectual capital in Libyan universities, which would enhance the value of these universities in light of scientific and technological progress. Given the nature of the research, a descriptive analytical approach was used to examine the literature and research documents. The researcher presented the theoretical and intellectual foundations of intellectual capital in universities in contemporary administrative and educational literature, as well as the role of university education in investing in intellectual capital. She then presented the most important global models for investing in intellectual capital and analyzed the current status of intellectual capital development in Libyan universities. The research concluded with a proposed vision for developing intellectual capital from the administrative, human, and relationship capital aspects, in addition to a set of recommendations for optimal investment of intellectual capital in Libyan universities.
